After a good day’s walking in the woods or fishing on the River Lyne, why not relax in one of our luxury log cabins with private hot tubs. From the decking overlooking the river you’ll watch the Kingfishers and Otters go by, as well as the large birds that are resident to the area like the buzzard.
There is a resident heron that lives on the River Lyne. You may see him around 6pm fishing for supper! There are miles of walks along the River Lyne as well as a National Trust walk which follows on from the River Lyne. Please ask for more details at reception and we can direct you to the best spots in the area, as well as give you local knowledge on what is good to do in the area. If you’re staying longer, you may want to visit the Lake District to see the delights south of the cabins.
Our luxury log cabins with private hot tubs tubs are the perfect way to relax in wild and luxurious surroundings. All cabins have their own private hot tub, used all year round. We use only Jacuzzi branded hot tubs to enhance your lodge holidays here at Hidden River Cabins. Our luxury log cabins have Jacuzzis that are permanently on, ensuring you always achieve the correct temperature. The hot tubs have the jets to create bubbles, a light that flashes different colours in the evening and a full control of temperature too.
All 6 of our log cabins have luxury jacuzzi hot tubs. All the hot tubs have covers to keep the heat in at night and at optimum temperatures throughout your stay. Chemicals are monitored by staff and there’s a slow-release chlorine dispenser to keep your hot tub clean throughout you stay.

If you would like to try your hand at fishing please do come to reception and hire a rod for £20 or order it when you book online. The rods are supplied with line, a reel and a spinner. All luxury log cabins with hot tubs have access to the river. They are all secluded, ensuring complete privacy for all guests to enjoy the surroundings in beautiful Cumbrian countryside. All cabins also have a fence surrounding them to keep livestock out as sometimes cows and sheep roam the land.
Look out for pheasants, wood pigeon, rabbits, hares and badgers in the local area too.

Each cabin has a spacious interior, accommodating up to 8 people comfortably. Log burner stoves keep the cabins cosy in the cooler evenings and during the summer months you can open the double doors onto the decking to let the sunshine flood in.
