Walby Farm Park
Enjoy a family day out at Walby Farm Park, only 15 minutes drive from Hidden River Cabins its and excellent place to take the kids. There is an indoor soft play if the weather is a little chilly and on a warmer day there is an outdoor play park with a large sand pit, trampolines, tractors, farm animals and our favourite goat racing at certain times of the year. Houghton Hall Garden Centre
Just off the M6 at junction 44, Houghton Hall Garden Centre is one of the things to do Carlisle. It has a variety of things to do, including a fantastic farm shop with all sorts of local produce. There is also a grocery store that sells very fresh produce, a toy shop, a world in miniature museum and Maidenhead aquatics where you can feed the fish with young children and look at the fish on sale – that is if you haven’t caught some in the river already!

The Vue Cinema in Carlisle shows all box office films and is located on Botchergate near the centre of town.
